Helping Struggling Students by Using the SAT Process

Hear a principal describe how staff work to remove barriers to student learning through its Student Assistance Team (SAT) process. Teachers are able to intervene quickly and support struggling students. Teachers use the sample material, Student Assistance Team (SAT) Referral Form, to refer students to this team and the Instructional Integrity Checklist to track interventions and to monitor student progress.
