Beginning in middle school, Albuquerque Public Schools students complete a Next Step Plan which details their academic plans and postsecondary goals. Offered in both English and Spanish, these documents are shared with parents and are used to guide course scheduling and extracurricular planning throughout grades 6-12 and help students reach their postsecondary goals.
